For maximum productivity and minimum maintenance, choose the XT3 A 2 . Dual counter-rotating augers provide even, precise material flow to the spinner while reducing the potential of material bridging and eliminating material carryback. Fleet maintenance personnel; will appreciate the superior design of the auger conveyor’s simplicity when preforming scheduled maintenance as well as, the accessibility of components when repairs are needed.

 

  • 10’ through 14’ body lengths are available
  • The 95.5” wide body with 36” high body height, for the largest capacity and lowest center of gravity of any radius style body produced
  • 7” diameter augers with variable pitch flighting for even unloading of material from the body
  • The auger flighting is constructed from AR500 steel, providing extended life of the auger even when conveying highly abrasive material.
  • 4” diameter schedule 80 auger pipe provides superior strength at high torque
  • One-piece construction in body side sheets and floor
  • Twin 3.6:1 planetary gear cases, in conjunction with the hydraulic motors ,provide high starting torque without sacrificing material output rates. Gear cases is are made in the USA
  • Two 24.7 cubic inch motors with one motor containing a 60 pulse60-pulse sensor. High feedback rate for accuracy of material delivery

 

How is the XT3 A2  Prewet system different from others?

A ¾” stainless pipe introduces liquid over flighting. Liquid is blended into material prior to discharge onto the spinner through auger rotation.

 

Easy Maintenance

The XT3 A2  is built to keep operators where they belong—in the cab, not performing maintenance on the road.

  • AR500 steel flighting, with a Rockwell hardness of 50 to 55, for longer life than hard-surfaced (welded) augers
  • 4” diameter schedule 80 auger pipe provides superior strength at high torque
  • No need to remove access panels—independent 4-bolt flange bearings are grease-able from the back of the machine
  • Auger-to-gear case connection is single pin with poly bushing for no maintenance and easy disassembly
  • 7-gauge 304 stainless steel trough with formed vee for optimum feed and auger cleanout, superior strength and long life
  • One-bolt removal liquid pipe for easy service or calibration of liquid application
  • Nitrided telescopic hoist cylinders

 

How is does the XT3 Apre-wet system work?

A ¾” stainless pipe applys liquid between the two augers over the flighting. The liquid is then blended, by the augers, into the material prior to discharge onto the spinner.

The XT3 A2  is built to stay on the road, not in the shop. Key maintenance, or maintenance free, features include:

 

  •  No need to remove access panels — independent 4-bolt flange bearings are grease-able from the back of the machine

What is the benefit of nitrided telescopic hoist cylinders?

The XT3 is supplied with nitrided telescopic cylinders only. The nitriding process provides enhanced protection against corrosion and wear in winter road maintenance events. This cylinder is supplied with a two year warranty.

 

Superior Spreading Control

Optimum material application control comes standard with the XT3 A2  fully adjustable hydraulic-drive spinner. The rear spinner assembly (shown) adjusts up/down, side-to-side, and fore/aft for precise spread pattern control.

 

Precision Manufacturing

The best results only come with the most precisely manufactured equipment. Advanced product techniques like laser cutting and slot-and-tab design create self-centering components like the material divider and spinner frame. Precision on the back end translates to precision on the front lines, and a machine that maintains a consistent drop point for precise product placement.
